“I have always believed that clothing is more than fabric. It’s memory, emotion, and a quiet kind of power — a way to tell the world who you are without ever speaking.”

Even as a child, I found myself lost in the world of shapes and colours. I would pull out pages from fashion magazines, trace elegant silhouettes onto fresh sheets of paper, and then fill them with my own imagined hues and patterns. There was something magical about seeing an idea transform — from a faint outline under my pencil to a vivid expression of style. Looking back, I realise that was my earliest lesson in design: understanding how emotion could be captured in a silhouette.

My formal journey began years later at Pearl Academy in India, where I studied fashion design for two years and immersed myself in the art of draping, construction, and detailing. Wanting to grasp the industry more fully, I moved to London to study Fashion Business at the University for the Creative Arts. But amid market analyses and forecasting, I discovered my heart didn’t race for numbers. It raced for fabric, embroidery, and the quiet language of craftsmanship.

So I came back to what felt true. I moved to Mumbai and pursued Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni, refining my hand, exploring new cuts, and deepening my belief that fashion isn’t about mass or speed — it’s about care, about soul.

When I founded LABEL ANUSHRI JAIN, it was with a clear promise to myself: to create minimal yet exquisitely detailed garments that could stand the test of time. Pieces that celebrate culture, individuality, and confidence — so beautifully crafted that even ten years later, you’d slip them on and find every stone still set, every thread still singing.

Today, our collections span Indian wear, Indo-Western drapes, and contemporary Western silhouettes, each tailored precisely to your measurements. Because I believe clothing should be personal — made for your body, your milestones, your memories. We choose to create fewer garments, pouring everything into each one, so that it becomes more than fashion. It becomes a legacy.
